Bracelet Onyx

This bracelet are made of natural onyx and sterling silver. The bracelet has the D.C.I charm with the anchor logo engraved. Sweden made. Delivered with a black gift box made of recycled paper and glued with water based glue. A branded black satin pouch are included in the box. The box has the D.C.I logo on top.

About the stone
Onyx has a long history of use for hardstone carving and jewellery, where it is usually cut as a cabochon or into beads. It has also been used for intaglio and hardstone cameo engraved gems, where the bands make the image contrast with the ground. Some onyx is natural but much of the material in commerce is produced by the staining of agate.

The main sources of onyx are India and South America, but it is also found in China, Madagascar, Mexico and the U.S.A.
