Shipping, insurance, delivery time

International standard shipping is free – We ship all over the world
We do not charge for international standard shipping. The shipment is registered and you can track your shipment as soon as the Swedish postal service scans the shipment. Please allow 7 business days for their service. Usually they deliver much faster than 7 business days. If you want a insured shipment, choose “additional insurance” in the checkout process (additional 5€). Please note: we have only lost 2 shipments since 2011.

If you want a faster, insured and more convenient delivery, choose FedEx© 
If you are in a hurry choose FedEx International Priority© in the checkout, we have to charge an additional fee for this service (18€). FedEx deliver within 3 days at your doorstep (at your home or work).

D.C.I SWEDEN processes and ships orders monday thru friday, 10.00-1800. 
please allow 24 hours for your shipment to go out. Orders placed after 13.00 on friday will ship the following monday. We will provide you with a tracking number when your order leave our facility.

Please note: we cannot ship to po boxes! A phone number is required to ship.

Payment

It is easy and secure to pay at D.C.I SWEDEN. We have chosen to work with well recognized partners who have state of the art technology and security systems.

Credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard
You provide your credit card information in the checkout process. We lease our service from the Danish company Epay (read more about Epay at www.epay.eu) It is safe and secure. We follow Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard – normally called the PCI standard – was set up in 2005 by VISA and MasterCard. The aim was to increase the level of security for online card payments and to ensure the standard was used worldwide. The PCI standard defines a long list of requirements for how we and other payment solution providers handle, store and transmit our customers’ card details.

Paypal
PayPal provides a way to send money to anyone in the world who has an email address. If you do not have a Paypal account you have to register your details (including Credit Card details) with PayPal. As part of this process you decide on a password so that you are the only one who can access your PayPal account. All this information which is sent to PayPal is sent securely (ie all the data is encrypted) so that even if intercepted by anyone while passing across the Internet, the information cannot be extracted. Only PayPal can decipher the data.

Failed Authorizations & Payment Declines
You may need to contact your bank for additional information about declined payments.D.C.I Customer Service will be able to help verify if you entered your payment information correctly, or change the payment method.

To resolve payment issues, contact your bank about:

  • Authorization to proceed with activity flagged by the bank as unexpected (including first time orders and high value purchases).
  • Daily withdrawal or purchase limits.
  • Payment authorizations, reserved funds and charges.

Note: Some banks have been known to hold these authorizations for 7-10 business days.

Returns and exchanges

We’ll gladly accept returns for any reason within 30 days of its shipping date. Some restrictions may apply

We take great pride in our reputation for quality and excellent value. It is important to us that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you do not absolutely love your selections, we will gladly issue a refund for the value of the merchandise or exchange your items within 30 days of purchase. Original shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Offers are subject to adjustment due to returns, cancellations, and exchanges. Merchandise returned after 30 days may be exchanged or refunded in the form of a merchandise credit.

Refunds
Once we receive your return package and the products are unused, your refund will be processed within 5 business days. Please allow another 2 to 4 business days for the credit to post to your credit card account, and an additional 1 to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your billing statement as each bank’s processing time varies. Credit will be issued for the original amount that was paid for the merchandise, excluding shipping fees. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment only. If you Paid with Paypal you will get the refund immediately.

Warranty

D.C.I SWEDEN offers a one year warranty covering manufacturing and material defects for genuine branded D.C.I SWEDEN  products purchased from D.C.I SWEDEN own online store or authorized D.C.I SWEDEN retailers.  The warranty only covers damage that in the opinion of D.C.I SWEDEN or an authorized D.C.I SWEDEN retailer is not caused by accident or inappropriate use, ordinary wear and tear, modification, attempted repair, negligence or by failure to follow D.C.I SWEDEN’s special product Care Advice. The Care Advice can be found below in this FAQ section.

Every item found to be defective under this warranty may be, at the discretion of D.C.I SWEDEN or an authorized D.C.I SWEDEN retailer

1. replaced by an identical piece, if available: 
2. substituted with a piece of comparable value; or 
3. repaired depending on the degree of damage to the warranted product as well as on the feasibility and the availability of replacement parts. 

The damaged product should be sent to D.C.I SWEDEN. If products are sent by mail, they should be insured and sent by certified or registered mail, as D.C.I SWEDEN cannot be held liable for damage, loss, or theft incurred during transport. 

This warranty service is provided free of charge. Please retain the purchase or delivery receipt, the gift receipt or the certificate of authenticity in case you have a warranty claim. The receipt or the certificate serves as proof of purchase and authenticity for products purchased and as evidence of entitlement to this warranty.

Handling and care

DCI SWEDEN  prides itself in using all natural materials, with that in mind some care is necessary.

Like any piece of fine jewelry a simple rule should be followed: Jewelry is the last thing that is put on before heading out and the first thing taken-off when arriving home. Following this simple rule will preserve the look and grant longevity of the fine pieces.

Water is not the enemy but the chemicals in the water are. They can dry natural materials by removing their natural oils and finishes. Chlorines, Sulfates and Lyes have been known to strip leathers and wood, tarnish and slowly eat gold.

The DCI SWEDEN line is designed to meet high standards, from time to time repairs are needed.
